Don Tipple was born and raised in Canada, where he joyfully fulfilled his civic duty by playing hockey until he was 17. Don worked for some of the public relations industry’s titans – from the global Burson-Marsteller to Havas-owned Euro RSCG Magnet, one of the Top-25 in the United States at the time.
During his eight years at Burson-Marsteller, Don served as the chief financial officer of the Canadian operations. In this role he was responsible for all finance and administration for five offices, including business plans, staffing, human resources, office space, equipment and financial reporting. He integrated a major acquisition in Ottawa and negotiated the sale of the operations to National Public Relations.
Prior to entering the public relations industry, Don was treasury manager for Rowntree Ltd., one of Canada’s leading confectionery companies subsequently bought by Nestle. He attended the University of Windsor, majoring in accounting and business management.
